Frequently Asked Questions

What should I wear?
expand_more
Dress comfortably! You're going to get messy so keep that in mind when dressing and don't forget your shoes!  While knee high side boots are adorable, not the best choice during your pottery class!  Wear long hair tied back and if you're committed, shorten your nails!
What if something goes wrong with my pottery?
expand_more
You are choosing to endeavor in a craft that has many variables.  As such, we do not guarantee that your pottery will make it back to you the way that you left it.  We do our best to care for your work as if it were our own.  That being said... pieces break, pottery explodes, glazes run, cracks happen. Choosing to continue is your acknowledgment that you accept these variables as part of the learning process and understand that we will not refund, credit or replace any pottery that does not make it through the process.  You are signing up for an experience, our environment, to co-create together and to enjoy the learning process.
Am I allowed to cancel?
expand_more
No shows or canceling within 24 hours will not receive a makeup or rescheduling option.  We plan and prepare for you each class or for your group that is scheduled.  We hold that spot just for you for each class/ workshop registered.
Do you allow for rescheduling?
expand_more
Life happens and we get it.  We require a 24 hour notice to reschedule or cancel your class for studio credit. We do not offer refunds.  Students can login to their account to make schedule changes or call the studio.
Are there class limits or minimums?
expand_more
We reserve the right to cancel a class if minimum enrollments are not met.  In which case, all class/workshop fees will be fully refunded. Our minimum number of students is 3.
Where should I park?
expand_more
When you come to class do not block any driveways!  Not even for a moment to bring your child in or to pick something up. Parking is available on the street around the studio.
When should I arrive?
expand_more
Please be to class 5-10  minutes prior to your scheduled class/workshop or group.  Upon arrival you will be asked to wash your hands- it helps keep our space as healthy as possible.  Thanks for your help in this!  We have aprons for students to use- clay is messy!
When can I pick up my pottery?
expand_more
Pottery is a process and we take about 4-6 weeks to get your pieces packaged up and ready for you.  Any questions?  Just ask! After your work is fired you have 30 days to pick up.  We are not able to store pieces not picked up.
